Paula Faris
Paula Faris is an American journalist
from the US. She was previously the TV reporter for ABC News. She is well-known
for her time as co-anchor of Good Morning America Weekend from 2014 to 2018 as
well as being co-host of The View from 2015 to 2018. Before that, she was
co-anchor of America This Morning (World News Now) and America This Morning
(America This Morning). After graduating, she worked in several
communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James
Productions in Columbus, Ohio. The position she held was in radio sales due to
limited television opportunities. She was hired as a WKEF/WRGT production
assistant. Later, she became a anchor and reporter. From 2002 until 2005, she
was the weekend sports anchor and sports anchor on weekdays at WCPO-TV in
Cincinnati. After her contract expired in 2005, she was a sports reporter and
anchor at the NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV in Chicago from November 2005 through
December 2011. In December 2011 she was appointed by ABC News the news division
of ABC. On January 2, 2012, she made her debut on the ABC network's World News
Now and America This Morning. In this period, she played a role as a fill-in on
Good Morning America as well as an anchor. In the future, she was promoted to
an New York-based reporter on the entire ABC News programs. She hosted America
This Morning and World News Now's last episode on January 22nd in 2013.
Following the time that Bianna Golodryga left for Yahoo!, her debut as
co-anchor on Good Morning America Weekend was announced on August 9, 2014.

contract for its twentieth season. Season 21 also saw her renewed as co-host.
In the 21st and 22nd seasons, she mostly appeared on the program's Friday episodes.
