Vinciewas born on 10th December 1987 Kaitlyn Anne Vincie, born on December 10,
1987, is an American journalist and sports broadcaster. As an anchor for Fox
NASCAR, she presents on their news and updates program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie
first became interested in stock car racing after she was granted an
opportunity to race in the pit lane. After graduation from Christopher Newport
University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. When SceneDaily
released her own self-made video blog posts about NASCAR and she was able to
draw attention. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10 in
1987. Her family relocated to Warrenton following the time Vincie began high
school. Vincie is the granddaughter and daughter of John Vincie and Margaret
Vincie. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was an educator in the
fifth grade while her grandfather was on the faculty of Bridgewater College.
Vincie was fascinated by journalism since a young age. Vincie was a graduate of
Fauquier High School. Vincie participated in track and field competitions as
well as was the manager of the school's wrestling team for four years. She was
the winner of the 800m race in the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie had the
pleasure of meeting Al Pearce, a journalist who was a mentor and gave Vincie
lots of advice. In 2010, Vincie completed her degree at Christopher Newport
University with a bachelor's degree in communications. Vincie worked as an
intern for the athletics department of the university. She also was a part of
Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie wrote her senior
dissertation on gender-based disparities in auto racing which specifically
focused on Danica Patrick, a female race car driver. Vincie became interested
in racing after she received an entry into the pit lane to the NASCAR All-Star
Race. Her main influences include Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
